Purchase Your First Home with the Start Up Program
If you're a first-time homebuyer, the Start Up program is designed for you. A first-time homebuyer is defined as someone who "has not had an ownership interest in a principal residence in the last three years." Whether you've never owned a home before or it's been more than three years since you last owned one, you may qualify as a first-time homebuyer.
Key features of the Start Up program include:
Income Limits: Up to $142,800, depending on the county.
House Price Purchase Limits:
- Up to $515,200 in the 11-county Metro area.
- $472,030 for all other counties.
Downpayment and Closing Cost Loan Options: You can access up to $18,000 in assistance.

Owner-Occupancy Requirement
Homebuyer Education: At least ONE borrower must complete an approved homebuyer education course before the home closing.
